Christian Preece becomes ITU World Duathlon Champion
Congratulations to Christian winning the 18-19 age group at the ITU World Duathlon Championships this weekend after an injury-ridden season. Chris is a suberb natural running talent who I'm sure will go on to achieve much more - especially when he starts training with Alex Young at Cambridge Uni this Autumn.
The 2010 GE Edinburgh ITU Duathlon World Championships saw over 800 age group duathletes race around the challenging course in Holyrood Park.
The GE Great Britain Age Group Team secured 32 medals across the various age groups at the 2010 GE Edinburgh ITU Duathlon World Championships. The USA, Canada, the Netherlands and Germany also claimed multiple medals and team USA provided some of the most vocal support around Holyrood Park as athletes raced for world titles in their age group categories.
